FAQ

1. What do these SMS reports consist of? They consist of jellyfish & rough sea SMS reports on your mobile phone. This means you receive an SMS telling you the bays that are suitable for swimming in - that is bays that should NOT have any jellyfish and where the sea is NOT rough.

2. Which bays are included in the text messages? The bays included are: In Malta: Armier Bay, Mellieha Bay (Ghadira), St Paul's Bay, Bugibba, Qawra, Bahar ic-Caghaq, St George's Bay, St Julian's, Sliema, Marsamxett Harbour, St Thomas Bay, Delimara, Pretty Bay, Blue Grotto, Wied iz-Zurrieq, Ghar Lapsi, Gnejna Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, Golden Bay and Paradise Bay. In Gozo: Dwejra, Marsalforn Bay, Ramla Bay, Hondoq ir-Rummien Bay, Mgarr ix-Xini and Xlendi Bay.

3. How accurate are these SMS reports? These SMS reports are based on wind direction, wind speed and sea currents and are normally very accurate and reliable. It means that you can rest assured that the bays mentioned in our text messages should be free of jellyfish.

4) How often are these SMS reports sent? Our SMS reports are sent at around 8:30am from 1st June until 21st September 2010 and we have 4 SPECIAL options: a) you can receive our SMS reports every day - cost 30 euros (b) only from Friday to Sunday - cost 20 euros (c) only on Saturday and Sunday - cost 15 euros (d) only on Sunday - cost 10 euros.

5) What happens if I get stung by a jellyfish in a bay included in the SMS report? While this is highly unlikely as we do our best to send out accurate SMS reports, it is not impossible. We are not liable to you if this happens. We also suggest you phone us on 50043344 to inform us so that we can keep on improving our services.

6) How useful and helpful are these SMS reports? They are very useful and helpful because you can enjoy yourself much better knowing that you are safe from the danger of rough sea and/or jellyfish. This is especially so if you have young kids.

7) I only want to receive the jellyfish and rough sea SMS reports for 1 or 2 weeks or just for a few days. Is this possible? Yes, this is also possible - you can view our rates by clicking here.
