Understanding Weather Training Course with lectures once a week for 6 weeks at our premises at Zebbug Malta.

Next courses begin as follows:

• Every Thursday morning from 10am to noon from Thursday 28th October 2010 with further 2-hourly sessions every Thursday morning till Thursday 2nd December 2010
• Every Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm from Friday 29th October 2010 with further 2-hourly sessions every Friday till Friday 3rd December 2010.

This course includes the following:

• Learning about weather instruments
• Recognising and understanding clouds
• Understanding weather maps, weather charts and satellite images
• Understanding weather systems (lows, highs and fronts)
• Understanding thunderstorms, hail and tornadoes
• Basic weather forecasting techniques
• Basic Climate Change issues

This course is especially useful for sailors, divers & fishermen, farmers, pilots, geography teachers, shipping agents, insurance agents, University or MCAST students aged 18+ doing weather-related projects, all those who work outdoors and all those interested in the weather.
