Marine Weather Training Course with lectures from 6pm to 8pm once a week for 6 weeks at our premises at Zebbug Malta.

Next courses begin as follows:

• Every Tuesday morning from 10am to noon from Tuesday 15th February 2011 with further 2-hourly sessions every Tuesday till Tuesday 22nd March 2011.
• Every Wednesday evening from 6am to 8pm from Wednesday 16th February 2011 with further 2-hourly sessions every Wednesday till Wednesday 23rd March 2011.

This course includes the following:

• Air Pressure and detailed study of synoptic weather charts
• Detailed study of wind and waves
• Detailed study of clouds and fog
• Short-term forecasting using pressure, wind and clouds
• Longer-term forecasting using weather charts and weather maps
• Understanding and forecasting squalls
• Old sayings explained

This course is especially useful for sailors, boat skippers, boat owners, divers & fishermen and all those interested in the weather at sea.
